We specialize in mild congenital impairments such as (but not limited to) gross motor delay, hypotonia or low muscle tone, higher functioning cerebral palsy, ataxia, poor motor control and lack of coordination, toe walking or any abnormal gait patterns and general orthopedic injuries such as fractures or common adolescent sport related overuse injuries such as apophysitis (Sever’s disease, Osgood’Schlatter’s), growth plate injuries or muscle strains. All therapy services for patients under the age of 10 are designed to be fun through the use of toys, games, obstacle courses, imagination, etc, to motivate them to get stronger, become more coordinated, have improved balance, increased body awareness, greater flexibility and utilize the most appropriate, efficient, functional movement patterns. We educate parents on activities to work on at home with their kids so that they can be an active part of the process of encouraging proper development.
